The required application fee to reserve your space is a non-refundable $200 which is applied to your total class fee of $2500. (or $2250, if no SofTap Kit has been elected). Once your application fee is received, and your application approved, you will receive a formal Student Enrollment Agreement, which includes forms to be submitted no later than 30 days prior to class, with the remainder of class fee due at that time. (Unapproved applicants will receive a full refund of the $200 deposit.)

Approximately 3 weeks before class, students are issued a training manual, 3 DVD's and a SofTap Kit if one has been elected. These items may ship separately. The training manual contains questions to be answered at the end of each section, and exercises to be completed and submitted on the first day of class, which is a portion of your grade.

Prior to class, each student is advised to secure hepatitis B immunization vaccination (see your physician for this). Those students who decline the immunization will submit in writing, a waiver for same (click for waiver).

Prior to class, each student is required to have completed a 4-hr Bloodborne Pathogens educational course. Students who have taken the course in the past should provide a copy of their certificate at the time of application.

For students needing a Bloodborne Pathogens 4-hr course , Lasting Impressions recommends the online course at www.eduwhere.com ($125) (click on the red "sharps box"- Bloodborne Pathogens) or equivalent. A copy of the Bloodborne Pathogens 4 hr course certificate must be submitted to Lasting Impressions no later than the first day of class.

Mission Statement: Cheryl Doss of Lasting Impressions® believes that cosmetic tattooing is a combination of art and science. She believes that learning is a process, and that the level of confidence with which one proceeds following basic training, can be measured and linked to the source of instruction received. Her goal is to measure up to and exceed, when possible, the industry standards for education, providing each novice with solid theory, substantial clinical foundation and the necessary resources, enabling the student’s entry level position in permanent cosmetics to be a smooth, confident transition.

How To Plan Your Class Date:

1. Choose to attend at a time when within the 3-4 weeks prior to the in-class phase, you are able to spend about 20-30 hours on your home study packet of learning material, including reading your manual, answering written questions, and performing some simple projects. Students who are not prepared are not permitted in class. Sorry, no exceptions. The home-study phase is an integral part of your successful completion of the program.
2. Financial Planning: Classes are to be paid in full 30 days prior to the start-date. It is then that you receive your study packet of materials.

New Schedule of Fees

$2500 class fee includes all materials required for class [Manual, DVDs, In-Class Supplies and a Start-up Kit of SofTap Products valued at $500.

Students may opt out of receiving a SofTap Kit. Class fee is $2250 when no SofTap Kit is desired.

Instructions for Registration:

1. Prerequisites: Obtain required 4-hr Bloodborne Pathogens training and HBV immunization. See Application for Enrollment for details.

2. Required: A telephone interview with Cheryl to secure a class date. Telephone 941-486-8039.

3. Complete an Application for Enrollment form and submit it with a $200 deposit to Cheryl A. Doss, R.N., Lasting Impressions, 536 Beverly Rd., Venice, FL 34293

4. Students secure and pay for their own hotel reservations and transportation if needed.

4. Once your deposit has been received, you will soon receive formal enrollment forms to complete and submit along with the remainder of your class fee (to be received at least 30 days prior to class start date.

5. When class fee is received, you will be mailed your home study packet. Then you should put your planned study period into action. You will need approximately 20-30 hours of study time at home.

All materials for the in-class phase of training are provided by Lasting Impressions. There are no additional fees.
